Dr. Barry G. Badger, DMD, FAGD
Dr. Barry Badger has been a practicing dentist for more than 35 years. He is a graduate of Geneva College in Beaver Falls, PA and the University of Pittsburgh Dental School. Since then he has engaged in over 1500 hours of continuing education and been awarded the title of “Fellowship in the Academy of General Dentistry” which is an honorary degree based on strict requirements of continuing education. He currently holds membership in the following professional societies: Lancaster County Dental Society, Fifth District Dental Society, Pennsylvania Dental Society, American Dental Association, and the American Association of Endodontics.
Dr. Badger and his wife Virginia recently celebrated their 42nd wedding anniversary. They are the proud parents of two children and a son-in-law and daughter-in-law, three of which have careers in the medical field: one as a pediatric intensive care nurse, one as a nurse anesthetist, and the other as an anesthesiologist. His daughter-in-law works for Social Security. Dr. Badger also has one grandson.
Dr. Badger is an active member of a variety of community organizations. He is a charter member of the Manheim Touchdown Club. He served on the Manheim Central School Board for nine years, and is an active supporter of Boy Scouts. He has participated in scout trips to Philmont, Canada, the Great Smoky Mountains, the White Mountains and Camp Mack.
A member of The Worship Center, Dr. Barry Badger has participated in several mission trips to Honduras, Nicaragua, and Guatemala, and serves in several church areas. His hobbies include home renovation projects, landscaping, scuba diving, and jogging. Dr. Badger has run 9 marathons.
